South Shields Movie Makers

Established in 1959, South Shields Movie Makers are a group of dedicated film makers.

Known as one of the friendliest Clubs in the North East our aim is to help anyone with an interest in film making.

On our practical nights beginners are teamed up with a more experienced member on a one 2 one basis to learn more about the art of film production.

We have competitions which allows our members to have their work judged by experienced film makers.

We also have talks and demonstrations by media professionals and members of other film making clubs.

The club has a good social atmosphere where everyone with an interest in film making is most welcome.
